Day 01: Cuzco – Cruz pata – Soraypampa.
Pick up from your hotel at 05:00 am Our transport will take us to Cruz Pata (2800 masl / 9186 feet). After 3 hours of travel, we will arrive at Cruz Pata, where we will meet our muleteers. and horses, from this place we will start our walk, we will have approximately 6 hours of walking through the traditional Andean communities as well as Challacancha that preserves its natural beauty, towards Soraypampa. In the afternoon we will visit the Humantay lagoon, at 4250 masl. A wonderful place. Overnight in Soraypampa.
Day 02: Soraypampa – Chaullay.
After breakfast, we will start our trek for around 4 hours climbing the highest pass (4,650 masl / 15,255 ft), we will be able to enjoy the most impressive views of Salkantay (6,272 masl / 20,577 ft). We will continue through the spectacular mountains and we will observe the Humantay Huayanay. We will also see small ponds. After a long descent, we will arrive at our camp at Chaullay (2950 masl / 9678 ft) 2nd camp.
Day 03: Chaullay – Beach.
After breakfast, we will walk to the beach. On the way we will enjoy a pleasant tropical jungle climate and we will be able to see plantations of coffee, bananas and other fruits, including some beautiful orchids. We will make a brief stop for lunch in Lluscamayu, we will continue our walk, arriving at our third camp “La Playa / The Beach”.
Day 04: “The Beach” – Santa Teresa – “Aguas Calientes”.
Early in the morning after our breakfast, we will take a local transport to go to Santa Teresa, and then we will continue walking towards Machu Picchu “Hidroeléctrica”. Here we will have two options: take the train or walk 2 hours to get to Aguas Calientes from Machu Picchu where we will stay in a hotel.
Day 05: Machupicchu – Cuzco
Early in the morning after our breakfast, we will take a local transport to go to Santa Teresa, and then we will continue walking towards Machu Picchu “Hidroeléctrica”. Here we will have two options: take the train or walk 2 hours to get to Aguas Calientes from Machu Picchu where we will stay in a hotel.
